I also had my PS4 set to auto backup my game saves, so all I had to do was redownload those from the PS+ cloud (note: whenever you download the game save from PS4 cloud to save to either the PS5 or an external hard drive, be sure to delete the cloud file afterwards if you want the system to continue auto backup).
